isn't that special, covered my maters up may only get a frost, but freeze warnings for north country are out.
Worse part of this taste of what's to come I can't test my new coal boiler! it's sitting under cover in back yard and all the existing piping has been pulled out down cellar, so can't even start up the outdoor wood boiler. The pellet stove is hooked up in living room and I have a bag of pellets in hand, that'll do.
reckon no more procrastinating- I need to get busy, wonder if my wife will notice?

Yup 42 here at 1015pm I covered the mater plants just in case, have no idea why the freeze warning was out there for here, but it's frost warning now, it's getting time, just wanted to see my field sunflowers bloom, they were slow this year. gives wild birds something to eat.

It's chilly but not enough to worry. Shut windows at sundown so shouldn't get very cool in the house. I would love to try the new duct setup but I can't justify it yet.

I'm not sure if my windows even open ...

It's either too hot out, or too cold out to do so! No middle ground with this MA palace ...

I have 40 degrees at 2:00am near Olean, NY.. I got out the little electric space heater to keep the living room warm for when the kids gotta get up for school. Rest of the house is currently mid-high 60's. The first stretch of mid 50's for highs forecasted I might have to lite her up :D

48 in central PA. We don't need frost until October.

I'm showing 36 degrees, but just went outside & looked.... frost all over the roofs & frozen dew on the car roof. Yikes! The house stayed 70.... it tolerates one night of cold pretty well.
