We now have the means to monitor the temperature patterns of our neighboring planets. If they are cooling or remaining the same in their overall temperature profile while over the same time period the earth is warming, then it is likely 'something' other than the sun is driving the warming. OTOH, if the other planets are warming at the same time that the earth is warming, then there is a strong likelihood that the sun is a major factor.

Yes that makes sense. But how would people make money from that theory? Trillions are made buying and selling carbon credits. The government would never go for that one.

Wouldn’t this article imply that temperatures were not just warmer, but whoppingly warmer 4 million years ago, well before greenhouse gasses caused by man?
