8 degrees with a howling West wind this morning. A good reminder that spring is still a few months away.

My wife was talking again last night about the "new to us" house projects that she wants done. They all involve painting or using tools on jobs that require ventilation. Kinda hard to open windows and work when it's in the teens outside. She has chronic asthma so windows have to open.

I have winter projects and the rest of the year projects that I need to jump on.

The LL Econo1 is a great little stove. I picked it up a couple of years ago for $50 scrap value. Rewired it, replaced all the gaskets, replaced the cracked glass, cleaned it good and fired it up. If I turn it up, it can take our 1895 vintage 985 sq ft bungalow type home to 80+ in two hours.

Rev.

Just a thought.... I have had asthma forever and just recently my DR. put me on a inhaled steroid and wow what a difference ! Too, I moved my burning device to the garage And between the two I have had zero attacks and zero colds this winter. That has never before happened in my 55 yrs. It might be worth lookin into :)

Best ..

Waldo

I hear ya with the projects Rev. Larry. I hope winter holds out longer, so I can finish mine. Trouble is, with the stove running, my woodshop in the cellar is about 45-50*, and not too efficient for shellac curing. And you say you've got a bungalo? I love those styles, and have tried to incorporate some of those designs into my old home renovation.(Unfortunately it's not a bungalo.)
