Yes, there are other things to consider too. If for example you want to bring large trailer as I mentioned previously there is a regular camping facility about 3 miles away and it would probably be wise to make reservations. The place I'm at is going to be limited to tents and few small trailers such as pop-ups. There are other accomodations avaialable and I'll be listing them when I get chance but most of these places have limited capacity, the closest place with bed as far I know has very limited space but that is quite a classy place.

Economy lodging in a motel I really have no suggestions, I can't think of a single place that is not more than 30+miles away.

Since our fearless leader fixed the permissions you can change your vote.... so if you can make the most popular one by all means change your vote so we can get an idea of attendance.... thanks for playing,

Oh and Cap, it's always MC weather... as long as you have the riding suit. :P

Hey Richard:

Is the motel on Rt. 6 in Meshoppen (at the top of the hill going towards Tunkhannock) still in business? Seems that would be convenient to your camp on the river...

WRT the best weekend: I voted for the latest date on the list---I'd prefer partying with your folks in June. The weather is very unpredictable in May; but, then again, I'll be crashing at my parents house which is heated with coal!!

I don't know, place has been quite dead for years. I really have no idea but if I had to guess they are renting rooms on a weekly/monthly basis and it's probably not a place you'd want to stay.

Looks like May the 23 it is? I'll leave this poll up for another week and unless anything changes between now and then I guess we can go with that date.

 You are correct sir... oops. I've changed the poll date from the 23rd to the 30th. So if you voted for the 23 you're now voting for the 30th. Change it if you want.

Richard:

Actually, Memorial Day Friday 23rd - Saturday 24th works fine for me. No place I'd rather be than NEPA! Perhaps we should vote on that too...
