The power company I work for here in New Hampshire, (Nuke plant), has just applied for permitting for two 980 megawatt coal plants in Florida. A by-product of the ash is going to be used for the making of concrete type blocks. A by-product of the scrubbing process is gypsum that can be used to produce sheet rock. Just a thought, I wonder what they can use the CO2 emmisions for? Heat the place up?

to feed algae ponds that make a bio-diesel like substance. very high yield and from the experimentation being done so far, very profitable.

Now we're talking, like in the hog industry: 'we use every part of the hog except the squeal' !!
