Sweet! Are these your stoves?

I wish I had a good picture of the Weso tile stove we had in our house back in 1981 or so. Very pretty brown tile color. They come up on Ebay now and again. Last one I saw had that nasty olive green 1980's color.

I WISH they were mine! They are pics I've collected of ones I like.

Hey Gary, did you take any photos with the doors open??? If the top door is for loading, and the bottom of the middle door is at the level of the grate, that would be a pretty deep firebox. Have you looked inside to see how close the firebrick lining gets to the loading door??

Is this a pure radiant stove or are there convection air ducts somewhere on the stove body??

Inquiring minds want to know....... :)

These are pics yanked from the internet. Mostly from non-USA websites. I've never touched any of them. But I like 'em!
I'll try to get a few more interesting models on later.

I have two cast iron 'parlor stoves' from the early 1800's, one column stove and one with a built in oven. Neither are built to burn anthracite, they lack a grate and ash pan. But the designs are interesting. If I get time in the next few days I'll try to post photos of them.
