Welcome sweeperman! LOTs of good information around this forum and there's always somebody willing to help out with questions. How long have you been using the stove?

been a while since my last post. been burning blacshak nut (bagged) coal since October I need to find the cheapest place to buy the same coal. I live in Union Beach, NJ don't mind traveling to north jersery or eastern pa I can pick up a ton - ton and a half no problem. With the help of this forum I have been able to figure out how to run this stove, save some fires and stove has been running fine. :D

Thanks Mark

Hi Mark,
I have used Aerni and Hitzel out of Easton, PA for my Blaschak. Give them a call first if your going to pick up a load, just to make sure someone is in the yard.

Definitely call to schedule a pick up apointment if you decide to go the A&H . A friend at work went in October and it was very busy. It's jus over the Rt 78 Delaware River toll bridge.

That's $7.20 per bag, Blaschak bags are 40 lbs. Too much $$$.
American Coal, Lafayette, NJ, Kimmels in 50 lb. bags, $6.75 per bag. 973-862-0079.
Or if you are really adventurous a trip to coal country is in order, but you need to be able to haul bulk.

I'm assuming you didn't google map and find out where Chatsworth NJ is.

How much coal do you have in that back of that Ford?

Sweeperman said he lives in Union Beach, I know where that is. His stove was made in Chatsworth. That's a tad further south. He did say he didn't mind driving...

Lafayette is in North Jersey last time I checked! In the good part of the state. :D :) :D

That load of buck was 3,420 lbs.

 I stand corrected.

IRT sweeperman - I'll stand by the Kimmels that crazy4coal sells. This year's batch is better than last years and if you don't mind the haul to Lafayette, you wont be disappointed.
