Recommend a Baro Damper

Modern and vintage hand fired coal stove are similar to a wood stove and in some cases can burn either. They need to be regulated and fed by hand usually every 12 to 24 hours depending on your usage. They require no power to operate making them ideal for rural settings with long power outages.

After reading many post here it's clear I need to install a baro damper. So, I'm looking to the vast amount of experence and wisdom amassed here for help. What brand and/or model do you recommend and why? Are there any to stay away from?
The stove is a Harman Mark II.

the size of your thimble.
I have an 8" RC in the top section of the pipe then stepped down to the 6" stove.

Do a search in the Controls section, the one most people use is what is stated above...RC from Fieldcontrols

Baro damper?

They are avaiable at various places online, from $25-75 depending on if you get the pipe to go with it or just the kit itself.

I was wondering how to do that. Field Controls recommends a 7" baro for my size chimney. I guess I couldn't believe it was that easy.
