Here are some pictures of my Ashley ASA7. It is of course a hand fired stove and the manual says it can burn bituminous or anthracite. I have alot of wood left 8 face cord of dry maple and would like to burn it up too. Does this look like a good design for the shaker grates as compared to the Harman and Hitzer stoves. I think this is a copy of the Harman Mark I.
I have a line on bagged anthracite for $340.00 a ton and can buy bituminous by the ton for $180.00 in Flint,MI and would have to rent a trailer. It seems that you can only get anthracite bagged here in Michigan, if anyone knows where to get it in bulk loose let me know please.
