I am about to install a Harman sf-3500 furnace parallel (side by side) to my existing oil furnace. As I plan for this installation, I am wondering: Are the clearances listed accurate for the space between the two furnaces? In other words, the specs list a clearance of 24 inches on the sides. But does the new coal furnace need to be more than 24 inches away from the oil furnace? or is that 24 inches fine for the space between?

Thanks for any advice!

The clearances are generally from combustible surfaces so I don't think they are a real issue for your install except for servicing. Just be sure that you can service each unit properly at the distance you chose, it gets tougher the closer together they are.
