I've been running the ds stoves anthramax insert for 5 years with only 1 cracked glass at the beginning of this season, and I will say I love this stove. 2 weeks ago the blower quit and I called them, they said I could still use the stove without the blower, well I let it burn out this week as we have a warm spell. 2 days later there's a loud electric fault and smoke comes out of the vent. Fast forward to today I pulled it apart and I'm not pleased with the findings. The cord and wire nuts all melted from being against the steel, the back right corner has steel exposed and I belive the heat soaked through. After my long story, has anyone else had a similar issue with the ds stoves? What was the fix?

I would call DS and offer to send them your pictures just to see if they have an opinion and see if they’ll offer to help you.

I did, but I was curious if this was a 1 off issue or if other have had this issue.
