I Have about 20” open space behind my stove , poured foundation already removed heat shield and added 1” ceramic firebox back to reflect heat forward , move stove back around 14” and perhaps raise it 6-8” than reconfigure piping ( maybe need some 30* or adjustable elbows if I can’t cut and reweld my heavy duty crimped 90*) I temporarily shimmed it up in 2008 to test it , and it’s Been undisturbed since , the decade long test firing has been a success
