Here it is, project is maybe 90% done.
Now I need some nut coal. Tried ordering Lehi, but this seems to be unduely difficult.
I want at least a full semi truckload. Delivered/dumped to eastern-central Ohio (7 miles south of Carrollton). Any suggestions?
*Edit* Pad details;
20'x30' 8" thick
Sub-base 2' minimum of compacted pea gravel
Blocks 12" wide / rebared into footer.. Also with 2' compacted sub-base and 18" concrete footer
All rebar is fiber-glass... Supposed to be equivalent of 1/2" steel
Rebar on pad is 12" spaced
Slope of 1" every 8'
French drain around entire pad.
Maybe other stuff I forgot
Oh, 4000 psi concrete, applied at a 5 slump
Saw cuts to be put in are 6'x10'. So, one cut down the middle and side cuts every 6'

That one of the parts that's not done yet. The driveway is getting extended and built up a bit to make an easy transition into the pad.

Looks great hope you can fill up soon , about 5 or so yrs back there was 1-2 people on this site who would haul from the breakers ( if you have trouble finding people call the breakers directly and see if they can recommend an independent guy or better yet maybe arrange the whole thing for you )

Wow, that's mighty impressive!! I wish I was able to build like that. So pardon my dumb questions, but what are you going to put over top to cover it? How many ton of coal will this hold for you? It looks like you'll be ready for the next THREE winters! LOL.

No top currently, might temporarily use a tarp. Weather does not hurt coal. Didn't calculate how much it will hold.... I just know it will hold more than I need.

Just ordered a full semi load from Lehigh. Flock me prices are Stoopid, $440 a ton for bulk (full semi load). Thanks Biden.

If that is all for personal use I would not fill it at these prices. After the war ends prices for coal will probably come down.
