Can you? Yes. No where near ideal. It's tiny compared to pea. Have you used pea size in your hitzer? You could top dress pea or nut with it. Probably need a lot more air.

Scott has the right idea see if you can sell it, I’ve burned rice on top of Nut coal but it’s very slow going at about 3-5# per 25# reload any more and it will choke your draft ( I had about 250# and it took at least 2 months to use in the above manner)

I've never heard of buckwheat coal. Makes me think of buckwheat pancakes! LOL.....

Yeah, they're pretty hearty! I personally don't care for them... they're OK but I'd rather just have the standard buttermilk pancake. LOL....waytomany?s wrote: ↑Thu.
