Gibraltar parts finder
Hello,
New to this site but hoping to find an answer in regards to my newly inherited Gibraltar CFS wood and coal stove. It appears my stove is missing the grate connecting bar and I'm unable to find the replacement part anywhere online. I've found replacement inner, center, outer grates and Shaker handle but nothing for the grate connecting bar. Without it, my Shaker handle only moves the center grate independently. Does anyone know of where this part can be acquired? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Parts for old discontinued and/or out of business manufacturer are difficult to locate. Especially ones without big demand and/or a high profit margin.
Perhaps Could you fabricate a connecting bar yourself. Doesn’t sound like it would be too hard to come up with one from a piece of steel flat bar.

I agree fabbing a part might be your only answer. It shouldn't be too hard to do.McGiever wrote: ↑Wed. Apr. 27, 2022 9:10 pmParts for old discontinued and/or out of business manufacturer are difficult to locate. Especially ones without big demand and/or a high profit margin.

It's just a kinda "S" linkage is it not?? My HITZER has something similar that could easily be fabricated. I'd post a pix if I wanted to burn the hell out of myself!!! LOL One of your grates has a nubby kinda thingy on it for connection???

And. square up that nub with a cheap Harbor Freight 4 in. angle grinder then fab that linkage accordingly to fit newly squared nub. Ezee Peaszy.McGiever wrote: ↑Wed. Does this help? It’s off my SCC with 230, 231 and 232 grates
It’s round button head solid rivets tack welded onto the plate.

Sorry for the delay but thank you so much for these measurements. I created this post when I first got the stove and then got distracted over the summer months. Now that temperatures are dropping I just logged in to find your reply. I actually have the LCC model but it appears they use the same gratesHoldencoal wrote: ↑Fri. Parts are not going to come to you, better Grab a “parts” stove off Craig’s List or FB Market Place.
Or…sell yours maybe???
