Just a whisker either side of 200. We have to crack a window if the daytime temp reaches the high 50s. One thing that impressed about keystoker is my stove was shipped with 2 ash pans, a 6 inch barometric damper, a plug in co detector, touch up paint and a handy steel panel that hangs from the top lip of the stove cabinet allowing you to open the fire door and cover the opening with the panel while the the glass in the fire door cools so it can be cleaned.

That is what I call great service. Very nice.

You might say my Hitzer 354 can run a similarly low temp.

Sounds like the Keystoker is well worth looking into.

The fire box is 14 wide, 12 front to back and 12 deep. Empty it takes 50 pounds of coal to fill it up + or -.

Thank you everyone for all the insight. I ordered the Comfort Max last week and was told would be in at end of March. Got a call it was in and picked up today!! The thing is definitely a tank. Unloaded off truck with a toro dingo. Had to have my son jump on the back platform of the machine with me to keep from tipping. Got it off safe. Great packaging crated up from the pallet around the box. And came all assembled! It'll be a bit to get installed as I'm building a fireproof alcove off the house.

Hitzer 354 Blower model has a finned heat exchanger built into the top of their stove. When the fan is off air still flows through this chamber. The hotter it gets the more air flows through...just like the Lopi...just like the sides on the DS that’s finned. Location of fins doesn’t matter, having the fins or not doesn’t matter...as long as a chamber is present there is air flow...convection.
I will say, the fins do matter. It's more surface area for the air to move across, taking heat off the stove. Location of the fins is at the top of the hitzer where air is the hottest. With the D. S., the heat exchanger tubes are on the sides, and are not finned. Heat transfer is slower.

Gonna be a bit as I will be building an alcove off the house to install the CM. I didn't expect the unit to be delivered to dealer so quick and either did he. Also using up the rest of the rice coal with the stoker.

So, it's going into a different location than the stoker?

Not quite the message I conveyed. Not on purpose anyways.

"Oliver keeps reiterating to me thought that the 254 or 30-95 would not only suit me better, but he also insists they would be the better choice. ;)"

So allow me to clarify. In the Hitzer line, the 254, or 30-95 would suit your small space better than your 354. We both know that. Heck, we all know that . I would not even mention the 254 if I did not know you had 354 experience, and a full understanding of the stove.

Yes, the Hitzer stoves are darned good stoves. There's a reason I've had three of them now. They are not only the best "coal" stoves I've had experience with, but the best performing stoves I've ever had, or been around. That being said; I like many stoves. I will say this; The Keystoker Deep Pot catches my attention for a stove a little more on the classy side. One of the things that draw me to Keystoker's Deep Pot stove is the grates. The Deep pot has similar grate design to Hitzer. It's a nice flat grate design. Efficient burns, easy shake downs, and not too fussy on coal quality. I believe the grate design of the deep pot is mentioned in Keystoker's literature. The D,S, Comfort Max 75 also catches my eye. What I don't like is the D.S. grate design. The flat grates are better all the way around. https://www.keystoker.com/advantages/#routing-list https://www.keystoker.com/product/deep-box/

Yes. The stoker is power vent. Gonna reclaim some floor space since the house is small and make a much simpler chimney setup with the alcove.
