If my math is right for those 19 days that’s just a tad under 1lb/hr. Just horrible. LOL!

Yes, that's what I came up with. I expect that to increase now that it's colder. I used a bucket and a 1/2 to top off this morning. Was in the 20's here last night.

That’s just about what I have found as well, though different brand stove.
My daily consumption average for the year was .8lb/hr., so it sounds like his may be close to that as well.
Keep us posted. I would like to see how your stove does for you. Some nice features on that stove.

That’s a beautiful stove. There’s so many options available. Color, glass top and different scene trim plates for the glass. I wanted one. Still would like to get one. I have the Hitler 30/95 in my house. It was what I could find and afford used. The ease of use of these hand feed hopper stoves is great. If you loose electric in the middle of the winter you still have heat I wouldn’t switch back to any other heat type for winter. Heating with coal is so worth it. Definitely enjoy your new stove. It’s sweet !

I also considered the 30/95. I believe it would have worked too. Yes the Keystoker was a bit more expensive. After selling my stove and all my rice coal I was just about $850 out of pocket to switch out stoves. The Hitzer 254 and 30/95 with the blower option would have been about $350 less.Spacecadet wrote: ↑Sat. Nov. 20, 2021 10:35 amThat’s a beautiful stove. There’s so many options available. Its looking like your set for life now. You would have liked the Hitzer too but this one is nicer looking for sure.

Sounds like you made a good deal. I have a rice burner (Alaska Channing III) in my garage. I had a 50/93 in there but it just wasn’t the right stove for what I needed.tiogajoe wrote: ↑Sat. I have a super dealer who I also buy my coal from. He only sells Keystoker but does not stock any stoves. Only took about 3 weeks for my stove to come in. Jennings Coal in Canton Pa. Great Folks to deal with.Spacecadet wrote: ↑Sat. Nov. 20, 2021 10:38 pmSounds like you made a good deal. I have a rice burner (Alaska Channing III) in my garage. Interested to see how you’re doing with this.
Can you get anymore detailed pics of the inside of the stove in all directions, back of stove, top, doors inside and out, close up the glass design and glass retainers, gaskets, secondary holes inside the stove if it has any, etc.
Give us a full report.
