It's a bit slow here in the summer. Someone will be along soon, hopefully they can help you out.

Trying find out model of hitsler stove . It looks like a 254 or 354 but the width is 28 in. And the depth is only 17in. Could this be a older model

Hitzer 254 has a 6" flue outlet, 354 is 7".

That sounds like the 354 model. Just measured mine today and was discussing with another forum member.

Let me clarify...
The stove body is 28”Wx17”D outside measurements. Now if you measure to the front of the doors it is 19” front to back of the stove approximately...that not counting the additional depth of the ash lip. I think it was 37” to the top of the stove outlet and 35 3/4” to the top of the rear step of the stove from the floor. (My son was reading the tape...in dark conditions. LOL!)

Didn’t see this post, Rob. Easiest way to tell them apart.

Actually, to new guy this was the only reply needed to distinguish between the two stoves. Slightly harder to measure if a stove pipe is installed and you don’t know what to look for. If pipe is not connected grab a tap and measure outlet as Rob suggested.
