cleaned the chimney just trying to get her dialed in been burning for a hour or so. Stove temp 400, stack temp 320, bimetallic thermostat on ten, 28 balls on chain, flapper door open about half a inch and not closing all the way... moving it one ball would close it. Chimney was a bit clogged up from burning wood earlier this season. Now the draft has really improved. Any thoughts or does she seem about right. She seems right to me except for maybe moving chain one ball.

On my 82 keeping that knob open 1 turn was critical to prevent puffbacks.

Thats a great temperature! If you have any draft problems at all leaving the knob just a hair open will help keep draft going. Warm weather problem mostly.

If people visit you can tell which ones keep their homes at 65 degree's as they'll be sweating, lol
