New Chubby sales are on the rise!
Some of you will remember a sweet video that Larry Trainer of Chubby Stoves made decades ago, shot by his skateboarding nephew with a now antique 8mm camera.

I am told now that there is a new professional video in the works!
Stay tuned.

I always thought the old video was well done. The content is timeless.

Why does it need a hopper , will it not burn 10 or so hrs before adding more coal ?

There was someone on here that attempted to put a hopper in. JR??? (BIG question mark) I think was username, or maybe he was the one who made the barrel taller. I doubt any of it made it better than it was made originally.

Ive thought of designing an electric shaker device just so I dont have to get on my knees  I have a homemade paint can shaker somewhere that might work but not sure its worth the effort.

Looks very awkward to load. A hopper would make it sooooo much easier. I’m sure it’s a great stove. I just think a hopper would be a big improvement.

Ha! I have a wooden chest in front of my chubby that serves as a coffee table and coal bin. I sit on it to shake.

Very smooth operation Lobsterman.. I have the old style firepot without the center pin. I don a pair of gloves and with my left hand 'round the right front leg and right index finger through the shaker loop I push and pull. It's a scene I wouldn't want to share to the public :)
