Fellas, I’m at a cross road and I’m stuck at what to do.

I purchased a HFH70/90 this fall, sight unseen except for a picture sent. A family member was selling it for her parents and didn’t know anything I was asking. Before traveling I did research and multiple web sites and Keystoker listed the flue height to be 23”. This seemed low at the time but then found another site that noted a 26” height. This maybe me more confident about the stove.

When I picked up the stove the flue pipe measured 30-inches from the floor to the top of the pipe. Not bad but not best.

1. Cut off the legs and sit the stove on short 1/2” legs. This will put the flue pipe at 26-1/2 inches.

2. Sell the HFH and or trade for a Harmon Mark II.

If you have a completely fire safe floor I'd shorten the legs.... I may be partial as I really like that keystoker model.

Yes, I have a brick hearth I can set this on. I just need to extend the brick two rows.
