New 50-93 situation

Was havin trouble burnin low on the 50-93 (25 yrs old)---after checkin EVERYTHING I saw that the latch & stud on glass door were really wore--called Dean at HITZER & ordered both which came in today--I installed & what a difference!!! Sometime the obvious just escapes the hell out of me!!

Thats one of the advantages of using stoves still being made. Parts can be ordered quickly. Your good for another 25 years now!

Had to replace mine also this year. Only 7 yrs & showed wear??? Now I lube everything with high temp anti seize, & see if it helps. I'll recheck in another 10yrs LOL.

I misplaced the hopper bolt last spring when I was burning some wood on may 22. Think i should order from hitzer or just pick one up at the hardware store?

Took 2 days for my order to get here & it didn't cost much. Plus--I enjoy doing business with Dean.

Yep...Dean and company are good people. Spoke to him today and we were both stumped. He talked for 25 minutes. I just let him talk. LOL! I enjoy speaking with him.
