I was shaking down my stove and it got real easy all the sudden.

Yes sir. Will have a new on Saturday. Right after this storm. Going to try to rake thru it to keep her going for the next couple days

You might be able to lift the front liner just enough to slip a blade in over the grates to riddle ash..

I have the 1357 so the front plate is more of a v shape than a rectangle. It causes massive amount of over the fire air unfortunately as I was unsuccessful last year. I’ve studied your works to make this stove functional lol

Yeah those grate nubs are a sore weak point of grates.. I busted a few of em.. :|

If my new one lasts another 3.5 years I’ll be happy. Hopefully by then I’ll be upgrading stoves anyway. At 60 dollars a pop I don’t want to replace too many of them

Nice, I see some charcoal bricketts torching up :) Do you have a good coal fire going by now? I take it that you replaced the grate with a new one?

It was off brand match lite charcoal. Paid a 1.50 for the bag and used a half bag. As for the grate it is new and just got here. This is my fires current condition. Unfortunately my camera on my phone doesn’t capture the flames very well, we’re making heat.

I was still stacking it on. I mount it where the center is over the firebrick
