Does anyone have any experience how to clean out ash and coal pieces that have landed in the heat exchanger-baffle in the back of the stove without taking the entire stove apart?

By taking off the flue casting, I think you could reach down with a vacuum hose. If it is already set up vertical, you might be able to get access with the smoke pipe off.

Thank you for your quick reply. I did that and was able to get dust and pieces of coal out. I’m not sure if there is some left that is not visible.
