Good Afternoon All

We are looking for any information pertaining to the Grate Linkage on a Gibraltar/ Glacier Bay Coal Stove. This part is missing on our stove and we wonder if another Gibraltar owner maybe able to provide us with enough information with measurements for the pins so we can have this part fabricated as they are no longer available through any stove dealers. I have attached pictures of the grate linkage and grate system. The part itself looks fairly simple to fabricate with the correct measurements.

Thanks in Advance for any input or assistance.

All thought it would do much easier if a member with the same stove chimed in to answer your question. There are ways to measure it up for your self. Remove all the grates. Facing them flat on the floor and If the brick ledges are removable take them out. And set them on top of the ledges. Like they were installed in the stove. If there not removable then Measure the spacing for which the grates sit in the ledge. And set the grates at that spacing now where the piece that’s missing goes measure those spots. You could make a card board mock up. Now install all the pieces back in the stove and make sure your mock up card board ‘fits’.
Now you have a mock up piece you can either take to a metal shop and have made or make one your self.
