Info on stove / heater

Hello thanks for letting me join.

I have a 2 stove lid heater/ stove. Warden King Ltd. Montreal. At the bottom of the lid CAK Laundry. Sorry no pic now storming and dark out. Like to know age. Was told it was used in a coal miners cabin . I don't know anything about this stove/ heater. Thanks

I got pics but can't seem to fight re out how to post. Guess 71 yr old shouldn't have computer . I think I got it figured out. It's water heater for laundry. Sure like to know age. Did name get dropped in 20s when bought out or did they keep using the name.

Heck Cowboy, the average age around here is probably near 60 so your still wet behind the ears!

Click on the "full editor and preview" button below, click on "attachments", click on "add files" choose your pic and open, wait for it to load. Then you can hit preview if you want to make sure its there, then submit. If your using a smartphone it might be different. It would be impossible to guess anything about your stove without a pic or two.

Nice find C, she looks like she's in really good shape--as far as what yr----I personally have no idea. I'd love to find one for my small shop.

I thought I had a part missing . The grate crank, low and behold its incorporated in the lifter. Ran out of stove black . I'll post a pic when I'm done.. Thanks for the help posting pics

Looks like its also a boiler. Don’t fire it with out water in the jacket.

Boiler with cooktop be perfect for heatin my shop

Get some plugs for the back inlet/outlet.

I would not recommend to plug any vessel and then build a fire in it, built up pressure from expansion will test the limits of the vessel...don't believe this is over thinking.

Wouldn't that be what he needs to do? Check pressure?????????????? Wouldn't it locate any leaks M? I'm sure it won't blow it up!! :?
