Can anyone tell me when Hitzer changed the hopper design to the new style that lifts out? I found a 2015 model stove for sale for a decent price. It has the Hizter sticker on the ash door if that means anything. Searched all over the internet for this question with no real answer.

Seller says it's only been used 5 times in the 5 years they have owned it.

Good to know! Its difficult to find information on these stoves, I guess I could call Hitzer direct. If the guy is willing to work on the price, I'll be bringing that stove home tomorrow

If that stove is already at a decent price don’t hesitate or it will be gone. You better decide what you’re willing to spend.

Mine was used little, asking price was fair considering cost of new...I pulled the trigger at sellers asking price. People can ask to lower price and get lucky while some sellers get ticked off.

I guess you have to know the difference between a haggling asking price and a bargain asking price.

I haven’t seen one with a removable hopper. My 50-93 in my garage is an older model. My 30-95 has a removable hopper that I don’t remove other than for cleaning it. Honestly thinking to myself if Hitzer had a removable hopper designed like the 3095 I think it would be awesome.
I would like to see some detailed pictures of one with a removable hopper. I’ve seen a pic of the removable piece itself, but not of the inside of the stove where it connects.

I have a 50 93 in my garage and I think the bottom of my hopper unbolts and pulls out. But apparently the newer model ones you can take the whole hopper out and run the stove hand fired or for hopper repairs or replacement

I'm thinkin that would just be the boot U ( an extension for the hopper) --that's how our older ones are--2 bolts sides---2 bolts front & back??????????????? I've never even seen one where the whole hopper comes out.

Here is a new style for sale on Ebay, looks like 3 bolts and the whole hopper comes out. Another thing I like, it looks like Hitzer changed the ash door hinge pins, mine are always coming loose and I have to hammer them back in. No big deal, over summer I'll replace them with grade 8 bolts and lock nuts. I just like how Hitzer is improving their design and if I am buying anther stove I'd like to get the newest model

May even be 1 bolt now that I looked closer, looks like the back tabs just sit in there somehow?

That’s the hopper i saw in which i was talking about.
My 50-93 has the boot on it also. Honestly I dont like it. I think it sits to far down into the fire box. Idk if it’s in right or not it’s bolted. I’ve never removed it. It’s in good shape.
