Now I get it. I didn't realize the inner piece worked independently of the outer ring. I thought when you shook side to side the inside piece was geared against outer so as to rotate simultaneously. I like the orangey color, that's wild. :P

C’mon Bugy show us the stove so this rookie knows what he’s looking at. Ya’ got the grate pic and it’s what I envisioned, but that’s not a base heater is it?

It's a mica base burner.
