Perhaps I should have clarified...
That enameled box, or cabinet, is of different design. I was inquiring of how air flow might move through it.
That said, I wonder if there's a difference between simple enamel paint and porcelainized enamel? The latter of which is on many stoves...and with age tends to crack, pop, and chip. A once beautiful stove becomes an eye-sore...at least to me. I'm for simple hi-heat paint...which fades, but can be made to look like new with little effort.

While we are on a roll here, a simple but clear youtube video of walking around the different models stoves showing the functions and details would even be better than the pictures. But we've came a long ways in a day! New eye candy is always good, and with the new picture viewer these and all pics are nice.

Also, the newer models with the reburn system made a HUGE difference in coal consumption.

For the EZ-50, there are 2 grates. Each weighs in at 12.9 pounds. Plus the the grate divider.

The D.S. Comfortmax video detailing that stove is a great example of the information the folks here like to see. There’s another on there Anthramax coal stove as well that’s another good example of a good video.
Something like that likely clearly takes some preparation, video skills, and time. We are patient though.

So it appears they claim it burns roughly a # an hour and was compared as similar to the 50-93 by some one who owns the 50 model. Dr. Fred, analysis please.
