Well it looks like Summer finally arrived here in NE Pennsylvania.
I'm soooooo happy cause
This year it came on a Sunday instead of Tuesday like last year.
Hopefully I can get my coal delivery early this week before the snow hits.
Paulie

Fire went out last Friday...
Finally was warm enough to call it...
Time to clean out and look for any damage...
The one where I left the ash door open for 3 hours...
Summer project is a pair of coils...
Going to plumb into the oil hydronic system...
To heat all or most of the winter DHW...
And a cold breeze way...
Oil boiler is a cold start so should work...

Mornings have been in the mid 50s around here but it quickly warms up to the mid 70s. Still only 1 wood fire since I let the coal go out last month. Looks like I'll have plenty of wood scraps to burn in the Fall.

Cool enough here in NW NJ to put a fire in the fireplace during yesterday's rainy afternoon. House got below 70 and wifey was cold!
