Good morning
I am looking for advice on installing an RC barometric damper into a Ventis double wall tee. My stove is a Chubby top vent and I had to use double wall pipe due to clearence issues. As some of you may already know, the RC unit is a little too large to fit into the the inner pipe in the tee. I'm hesitant to break out the tin snips and try to trim some metal off the collar on the baro. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Never done it, but might you cut a narrow collar width sheet metal shim to wrap around the circumference to fill the small gap??? pop rivet on bench before inserting???

Thank you for the replies. I have some old 6" single wall pipe. I should be able to cut a piece off on the male end and use it as a simple adapter. One concern was the distance between the baro and the flue pipe. In the RC Controls manual it states a specific distance should be maintained to assure the proper operation of the baro. I'm hoping the distance isn't beyond the maximum using the adapter.
