Gaskets and replacement fire bricks are cheap. Grates and the steel cradle the grates rest on most expensive parts to replace. door glass is not too bad, special ceramic glass, and gasket for glass is a bit different then door gaskets, flat and wide to wrap over edges of glass. clean up exterior by wet sanding 320Grit or so, then apply Imperial Stove liquid polish. Works the best.

Getting screws out of door glass retainer plates will be a bear. They probably will break off. Dread not if they do, you can redrill new holes in door casting and make it work. Trick is to not over tighten glass or have glass to big so it won't expand in frame to not recrack!

i bought my 50-93 for $300 putthat much back into it, grates and grate craddle, bricks ,gaskets. My glass was good, but did regasket glass and saw issues with old screws breaking
. Considering cost new to cost rebuilding.... definetly worth $600 verses $1800.

Pull bricks out, take grates out next inspection if more than an inch deflection grtes...?, but check grate cradle steel frame under grates its pricey! Stove comes a part easily... just have to take hopper boot off/out to completely remove cradle.

80 here 80 there soon it is an extra 300 in parts...
it's been over fired by looks of the rust pattern...
Glass has several large cracks in it...
New glass is $80...
Does the fan run...
Quietly...
A gently used stove is 5-800 off season...
Less parts to replace up front...
I paid $300 for a gently used but older 503...
Just replaced the bricks and ran it this winter...
Needs a cradle and a hopper this summer...
Really just a brick retainer could be welded on to make it fine...
But it is fifteen now and I'll splurge for new...
I would start at $100 and might go as high as $175...
figure each part averages $80...
Grates, hopper, glass, shaker arm and cradle...
Maybe a fan too as it is not a radiant model...
Gonna set ya back about $500 plus another 10-15 hours of labor...
MSRP prices with some pics...

Ahhhhhh...Capecoaler, IT IS a radiant stove! Blower you put on a rheostat controller, or as i did on a thermostat set up. Over fired? rusty steel doesn't mean over fired, means not always kept out of moisture and seasoned after use.

Looks kinda in rough shape. But then again looks can be deceiving. When you go look at it bring a flash light and look the inside over real well. Specifically the inside of the top. surface flaky rust that will fall off when you rub it is to be expected, however thick chunks of scaly rust isn't acceptable. If you've ever owned an old rotted pickup you'd know exactly what I mean. If it is in decent shape and only needs glass, paint and all new gaskets, it could be a good deal. If you don't live next to a Hitzer store, they can mail you the direct fit glass and seals. You'll get them in a couple day. Tractor Supply lowes and home depot will have the paint and the fire bricks.

As is my 503 if I turn the fan off or to thermostatic setting rather than always on...
But the double wall that creates the air chamber for the air duct reduces heat output...
By a fair amount...
But there is a non blower version of the 30-95 stove...
Without the air chamber...
Missing a shaker arm and the rust pattern leads me to the over fired conclusion...
The Cape has some high humidity year round...
Seen lots of rust on stoves...
But it is the pattern of the rust getting heavier at the top and lacking on the hopper cover...
