Over in Vermont I have a bit of an ongoing project with the East Poultney Historical Society, stopped by today. While there I took some photos of a stove I’d never seen or heard of before.
Very interesting design with a crank that revolves the entire stove top to adjust heat under the pots. Supposed to be easier than lifting heavy pots about the top of the stove they say.
I did a search for the word ‘poultney’ here on the forum and found nothing thus soothing my fear of duplication as a newbie.
Some info I found on the net, scroll down about 1/4 page looking for ‘Stanley’......
(Atop the stove is a salesman’s miniature display sample)

And some photos taken today.

Never seen anything like it - fascinating Stove. Thanks for posting about it.
It's a great idea,.... a coffee table that can actually make coffee.
And thanks for the heads up about where it is. I'll make a point of stopping there next time on the way to my sister's place.

I have the same stove. Very unusual and a big hit with folks that see it.
