Clayton Warm Air Furnace

Modern and vintage hand fired coal stove are similar to a wood stove and in some cases can burn either. They need to be regulated and fed by hand usually every 12 to 24 hours depending on your usage. They require no power to operate making them ideal for rural settings with long power outages.

Do you have to use a draft kit if your burning coal in a claton 1600m?

I have one and thru the relay you can set it up to work off a t stat. It helps get things fired up in a hurry!

Johnstar, if you have a very strong drafting chimney, you may not need a draft kit.. but they do help, as stated above, to speed up the rate at which the fire responds to a call for heat..
