I have a Coal Chubby rear vent blower model. Wondering what if I have to lubricate the blower unit?

Thanks!

That's a good question! I don't believe that there are any oil cups nor ports to oil. Check Yours as I'm pretty sure it's a sealed bearing unit.

I have a rear vent and a top vent(1979-1980 vintage), both with blowers. There is an oil drop tube on the top of the motor at each end of the shaft. I use light weight machine oil, once , start of heat season, another, about February.
Cheers

Good to know, I replaced the motor about two years ago. I hate to say it hadn't occurred to me to do it since then.

If it has bushings, two drops of light oil at each shaft at the bushing. Don't overdo it. Twice a year should be enough. 3 in 1 works well. Most bearings are sealed on tbese smaller motors. If it does have grease fittings, two shots a year. Too much grease can get into the motor and cause grief.

My Coal Chubby doesn't have any fan motors. A drop of oil on each hinge pin every five years is all she needs. :D
