I burned out of my first bin of coal. It was a little bin. Held 1 1/4 ton of coal. That coal lasted me from beggining of February to April. And from beginning of October to the first week of December. Overall about 130 days for a cost of approximately $275. In that same time frame I would've used about a bag of wood pellets per day at a cost of around $700. I'm anticipating my yearly coal useage around $700 / 3 ton.
All I can say is I'm warm and happy and coal is the way to go!
Coal beats wood pellets - huge saving!

That’s awesome!!!! My nasty oil furnace doesn’t kick on as much as it used too for heat. And that’s with a small coal stove ( cranking )
