Well, I was told it would happen and it finally did. My first grate cracked in half on my stove.
I understand the original parts may be hard to get, was wondering If I could still use the stove
maybe by moving the the remaining grates over a notch, leaving the gap at the left or far right of the stove, as opposed
to the middle. The lengh appears the same, some notches up and down etc.
If not, is there any way to cement the part together? It should be cast iron, but it is so full of ash, it appears to be the same material as the fire brick.
Does anyone know were I can get the part. I just need one, but may buy a few if the others break.
Thanks all, check my profile for posts on the stove a few years backj.
