Yes, to the right is for a wood fire or to start the stove using wood,to the left is for coal. That's all you have to do to change over, no different grates or shakers. You can hook up an outside air source to the inlet on the stove bottom. I have my manual and could photo copy it for you. Leave a voicemail with your mailing info at five one8 7 for 7 for five 96.

Yes I did, thank you! It's hard to tell, but it looks like the drawing shows that the air lever in the front does control the air coming from the bottom vent. I just want to make sure.

I received the photo copy of the user manual.. thank you so much! It's a huge help. What a great stove, it's a shame they don't make them anymore. I will certainly let you know if I see another oneOldFarmGirl wrote: ↑Wed. Dec. 21, 2022 11:37 amYes, to the right is for a wood fire or to start the stove using wood,to the left is for coal. Thank you for letting me know about this stove for sale. Unfortunately it was in central Ohio and I am in eastern upstate NY, too long of a drive for me to get it. The seller was going to part it out for me and send the door with glass, but then found someone to buy the whole stove. I don’t blame him as it is in good shape. There is one for sale in PA, but like my stove, the front curved glass is cracked. Thanks again, and yes, I am still looking for one for parts.
