1) Can I reliably operate my Comfort Max 75 on 100% anthracite pea, or must I use nut (or stove) size coal? I'm not concerned with regard to some loss of top end heat output potential for pea vs nut or stove.

2) When running on anthracite, should I leave the air-wash knob which is right below the loading door on the L (low) setting, or in other words, all the way closed, or should it be positioned somewhere between L and H?
