They were out of NY. Looked up their website and found nothing.

When you Google it, US Stove shows up a lot. Maybe they bought them out??? They have bought other manufacturers out...

yes had wondered if their furnaces were still being made these days., who else build something similar.

no bio mass did, and the family sold the business after a death in family... so no one makes them anymore... humm.... wondering about the A 80 keystoker... with a power feed , uses pulverized rice coal, any likes or dislikes out there!!!!

If the A-80 is built like the A-150 w/ a second hear-exchanger then it too can corroded badly due to being difficult to clean internally between seasons.

If ya can't or don't clean it well it will decay to the point of being useless.

There are in this second heat-exchanger several tubes between a top and bottom header that have less than ideal means to get a necessary good cleaning done. Only good awareness and due diligence can keep them from self-destructing from corrosion.

in my log wood, I clean the seconday heat exchanger with a vacume cleanber hose, pull off exh pipes and suck out the fly ash... takes a bit with a brush too, same on my kitchen cook stover around the cook box... its a pain, but its necessary... wonder if its the same on the A 80...

In that case, you'll be just fine! To many people think this stove maintenance is some kind of magic!! .>)

The company was not sold. There was no death in the family. Unfortunately operations were just shut down. There are comparable products, however none hold a candle to quality and longevity.
