Anybody have any problems with stove liners? On my HOTBLAST I’ve been through 2 in 5 years and my last one which is the rear liner did not last a year and it’s got a hole in it. Wonder if cd industries could make a better one?

Yes, I had to replace my rear liner. I did attempt to make a rear liner with refractory cement but it didn't last very long unfortunately.

It'd be cool to line the front and back with fire brick somehow. The bricks can be cut with a cement cutting blade on a radial hand saw. Then you'd just need to come up with a way to keep them placed, a retainer of some sort.

I am sure we could design a replacement liner. I would lean towards stainless steel for heat and corrosion resistance. Retainers for fire brick is a great idea also. I am going to take a look in the manuals and come up with an idea for the firebrick retainers.

You’re going to need something along the lines of inconel 625, 725 for any kind of real longevity 🤓
