I know this is going to come back to haunt me but here goes...clinkers I have none, just powder. maybe a couple the size of a dime.
edit: Damn TOTJQP!
My fire stop, (clinker access), was missing the inverted fingers. I think a previous owner destroyed them so I fabricated a buttress to keep the coal in the pot with a narrow path for knifing the grate and it seems to work well. Ashcalibor might go in but it might not come out!
If you 1st inserted a quote Mike, TOTP isn't that annoying. Only when responding to a previous consecutive quote does it apply negatively. And those are the rules.michaelanthony wrote: ↑Fri. Hi joeq! I'll do my best to remember the TOTP rulesjoeq wrote: ↑Sun. Feb. 18, 2018 5:20 pmIf you 1st inserted a quote Mike, TOTP isn't that annoying. Only when responding to a previous consecutive quote does it apply negatively. And those are the rules.
And your ashcaliber looks very effective. Presently, I use a 3/8ths flat ended steel rod, that I use to riddle the coal bed through the clinker door. It works pretty good, and when I tilt the end downward, it'll penetrate the grate teeth, and drawcenter slots. I like the CDI idea, and wonder if it would be beneficial to purchase for my application.
