Hi Vonda, what tcalo did^^^^^^^was a great idea and I'm happy it worked out.
I was wondering if your basement is insulated, if so you could put the stove down there and install registers in strategic location for supply and cold air return...just a thought, I try to suggest non-electric needed remedies first. I could have every room in my home the same temp if I wanted but my electric co. are nothing but legal thugs!
My house doesn't have a basement, just a crawl space.

Understandable Tom.

Vonda, Do you have a hot air conventional heating system or central A.C.?
I believe it is Central air. My units are in the attic.

V, my 0ld farm house is 200+ yrs old & the rooms are really broke up similar to what your diagram shows. I'm a big fan of OLD, had a nice round oak burning wood for quite a few yrs--but came to the realization that there was no way in hell I was going to be able to satisfactorily heat my house with a chubby type stove. That's how I researched & tracked down my HITZER 50-93. I understand the aesthetics, but my goal was to keep warm.

If it is possible to just run the blower, you may find that distributes the heat quite well.

The side with the Chubby says 75° but the thermostat is in the same room. The other side says 66° but I know my heating system kicked in. I'm turning the heat off on that side to see what is the temperature.
As for Georgia, I don't think they like it. My neighbors are upset because their furnace hasn't gone off at all. Others are complaining about the lack of warmth. I told them I am a warm 71° on one side and 66° in the other and my furnace barely came on. One of my neighbors is coming over to check out my chubby.
My cats and dogs are living the heat.

Today was not a good day for me and chubby. I do not know why i could only get one room warm. Dont understand. It was nice and toasty last night. This morning i woke up to a cold house and i have not been able to get warm but the chubby was running 400 to 500 degrees.

I called Larry and he suggested i open my front and back windows a sliver. It helping. When it windows were opened 1/8 of an inch the temp on the side of the house with the chubby was 81 and the other side of the house was 69. Temp outside was 28 feeling 19. I closed the windows to about 1/16. Temps are 79 and 65. Outside temp is 28 feeling 9. Stove is running about 424. Im happy. Btw i turned off all gas heat. The house is being heated only by the chubby.

That's kind of a neat little trick Larry had given you. I've heard of cracking a window for make-up air, and opening windows to let heat out, but never two opposite windows for circulation. That's one I won't forget.

It kind of makes sense. I remember the days of standing on the opposite side of stove from which ever direction the wind was blowing.
