the shaker broke this morning.
he cannot find a manufacturers plate on the stove.
here is the only pic i have so far, he must be sleeping, he posted the pic on facebook at 4 am.

anyone know what make and model this is by the front?

i will get better pictures when my cousin gets back to me.

here yah go bud:

...looks like a Russo. The one you posted is missing the blower, the hot air comes out all those stacked openings up and down both front corners.
Looks like a good heater

...also, that is the ash drop sitting atop the stove.

I would get a blower for that stove, (easy find), and push all that heat out of the corner. Russo made or makes a tough product, never heard otherwise.

Here’s a few photos, the rear bricks seem alright but have iron stuck on em, 3 of 4 side bricks are in 2 pieces but stable, front of bin is 2 pieces waiting to go 3 or 4 :/ and the shaker I got the chunk of square metal only to find what I feared , a bolt, so how the hell do I separate the shaker arm from the pivot so I can remove bolt, can only assume I’ll need a boltable grate and not a straight slide on the square to work

I have the grates reversed but current grate at hole has no bolt hole, but I have a metric tap and die and am more than willing to do the work if it is possible to run the grates swapped since one is curved and one flat/straight, I’m assuming to allow ash to fall easier

would like to run this for now as is and fix grate at end of season or switch to an auto feeder but idk, whats my options, figuring I’ll need to change the front bin part since it leans on grate now after pulling out

he got an old warm morning stove cheap to last the season and burn the 2 tons of stove coal he has in his basement.
