Careful with that winch or you could "wind up" like this. Jump ahead to 8:35. :D

I'm bringing back this "thread from the dead"
"Bring out your dead" (Monte Python, Holy Grail)

Temps haven't really dropped enuff to fire up the old tin can, but the winds are blowing in some coming attractions, so I thought I'ld get ready. Picked up a couple tons of LeHigh, (stove and nut), and if I feel ambitious enuff come Turkey day weekend, maybe I can join in the fun, that a lot of you have already been dabbling in.
If only I had a fork lift. Had to hand un-load each bag individually from my trailer. Exercise I needed . Now I know what the wood burners go through. :?

Hey Joe .........Might be a good idea to build a shed on top of the trailer and take them out a few at a time as you need them . Just saying .....

Clever idea Paulie. Would that be considered an "enclosed" trailer? I actually use the daylights out of that thing, for many different purposes. It helps having a Holmes 440 winch on the back of the truck, so I can haul cars, or other large items up it. I think I posted my pool deck on it last year. But putting a roof and sides on it would only be beneficial part of the time. Thank s for the idea tho. :)

I'm thinking ya build the shed to be removable and winch it on and off.

Better yet...... Make a floor in the shed and have them load the shed with the pallets and winch it off the trailer when you get home.

Semi enclosed trailer. :D

So here we are...Tues, and the cold has returned. In the teens tonite, and not going out of the 30s in the day, for the foreseeable future. Guess it's about time to light up. (No, nothing to do with that "cannabis" crap :baby: ). Only thing is, I have-ta drive outta state for a couple days, for my daughters college graduation ceremony in up-state NY. So this week-end should be my "own" ceremony. :D
