It’s going to really freak folks on this forum out, but In an ideal situation all three would be utilized on a stove at the same time
Now that would be ultimate control my friend :ugeek:

Somehow I could see me doing that

I can attest to what Scott said (about using all 3 devises) on my previous stove. It did perform W/O the MPD and Baro, but after those installations, and monitoring all the stoves functions, and adjusting accordingly, I got it to perform to the best of it's capabilities. Of course the considerable advice obtained, by the patient and knowledgeable members on this site, provided me with the ammunition to achieve the quickest and most effective results I could've imagined. I can guarantee you'll be happy with the information you'll acquire from these people, and will have a totally enjoyable winter with your new stove. Now, while you're waiting for parts, start practicing your picture posting, cause some of us thrive on pictures of other members installations. Looking fwd to your progress. :)

Congrats on the new coal stove, Woodslave.

Now, you'll have more free time so you can spend it on here arguing about which form of stove control is best.

I guess I'd rather hear arguments about "stove control", than "birth control".

Alright everyone, I have an issue with the chubby! My loading door does not fit up well with the stove...I did the "dollar bill" test on the doors as I always do with any stove and it is not even close to having a good seal. Looks like the holes are drilled too close to the body of the stove causing the hinge side really tight, and the other side where the door handle is, is loose. I'm thinking I need to "slot" the hinge to make it seal better. I didn't realize this till tonight, so I have not contacted Larry about it. So what do you all think? Thx all

Wood slave

Contact Larry... he will know what to do. I owned a Chubby for 20 yrs or so until I went to the Harman MK III. The Chubby was sealed good when shut when gaskets were new.

Wow, what a disappointment! Something you aren’t expecting with a new stove. Call Larry, I’m sure he will make it right for you.
