Hey guys, here is my latest project a early Favorite 261 baseburner. She was pretty rough but I had to save her. Total tear down, sandblast, and reassemble. Project coming along pretty well. Plans right now just a trouphy queen. Only reason is I have one setup for coal and it's occupied by my Florence 153. I'll post more pics as project progresses.

Here a couple more pics. Making good progress. Most parts sandblasted and painted. Favorite run exhaust gases out both sides of the burn chamber, out the back down around the base where the gases goin in the center. Then they go out the center exhaust tube and rise to the exhaust pipe. Pretty complicated design, where as the Glenwood has the exhaust going out the left side of the chamber, around under the base, rising up the right then to the exhaust pipe. Much simpler design which fewer parts.

Coming along very nice! I really like the smooth roller grate arangment on the Favorite stoves.

The gas path in base burner mode is very similar to what the Famous stoves used.
