any thoughts on these stoves. I bought a channing III that will heat up to 2500 sq. feet. have a 2 story home 95% remodeled. direct vent. the other day it was below zero with stove on 2.5 it was still 75 in living room and 70 upstairs. loving this stove. these have a 265 cfm variable blower and the feed rate is like a set it and forget.

I have no problems with the stove and I paid $1,800 vs. $3,000 for the Harmon. I can't say anything about the Harmon, but I have to wonder if it's worth 2/3rds more. I don't know if they have the variable blower that the Alaska does or not. The price difference will pay for my coal the first 3 years or so.

The stove Heats the whole house, 1200 square feet split entry, well insulated. It would take more than a 2.5 to get me to those temperatures if it was that cold outside.

Haven't heard anything good or bad about the Keystoker's but I there's no dealer's in western PA.
