Finally found a picture of the Bucks grates worked for wood but had huge gaps in between. With coal I could not rotate them without a JAM they wanted to go far. I'm not having ANY trouble with Ashley's grates. I really like how they go up and down they are actually grinding Ash up.

Yeah that one should work good. The disc on mine shuts the blowers off at 95 and turns them on at 105.

I noticed something Ashley most be burning this KY bit well because there very little smoke coming out the chimney and stove top is just at 420 loaded bout an hour ago. Sometimes I wonder if fire shoots out of front liner burning volitales. Cause the load door shoots to 480 sometimes with fresh coal.

Currently 76 in furthest room for stove 79 in living room and this is 1900 square foot home.

Actaully when first added the fire was very low. I think is good how it diminished quick

Shut it down Thursday spring is here for the next week. Think while it's down I'll pull the pipes off to have a look.

Just found out when the mano is steady at .10 then rises to .15 I better get things under control with ky coal...... closed MPD to half got back down to .05 believe I left the ash door open a few minutes to long. I could smell heat.

Oh yeah, when mine gets hot I get smell it on occasion also. Probably just dust on the fire box.
