C, the only thing that mano will do is let you know what's going on draft wise--it is not something that will calibrate things for you.

Yes it helps set draft, but with a new stove/setup, if you start having problems it will help you eliminate having too little or too much draft as being the problem. There are no 2 setups the same, even with the same stoves. Dont get real hung up on the number you have as long as its not real low. Some people enjoy tinkering trying to save every ounce of coal they can but its all about trying to stay warm.

Well then, check out some of Lee's (Lightning) threads about his Clayton monitoring . He's our resident gadget King. He got me hooked on a few I'd be lost without, now.corey wrote:I like gadgets I'm definitely the tinkering type.warminmn wrote:Yes it helps set draft, but with a new stove/setup, if you start having problems it will help you eliminate having too little or too much draft as being the problem. He's done something like that, too, so that he can monitor all the gauges and gadgets from his phone.corey wrote:Might be projects for next year.
This summer I would like to install a camera connected to my DLINK router.

Ironically, it's simple to master the art of burning coal without a bunch of add-on do-dads--BUT, Lee is the man in that area.
